Why is Mandrill bundled with Mailchimp?
Mailchimp acquired Mandrill in 2012 and merged billing in 2016. To use Mandrill today you need a Standard or higher Mailchimp account. Mailazy has no parent product — you can sign up directly.
What's a Mandrill block?
Mandrill sells email in blocks of 25k. You pre-purchase blocks; unused volume doesn't roll over. Mailazy bills monthly based on actual contacts.
Are Mandrill webhooks supported?
Yes. Mailazy emits the same delivery, open, click, bounce, complaint, and unsubscribe events as Mandrill. Adapter SDK available to map Mandrill's payload shape to ours.
Can I import templates from Mandrill?
Yes. Export HTML from Mandrill, import via our template UI or API. Handlebars syntax works out of the box.
